Dual Contest
Fast Draw Timer
This state of the art sensor uses new technology to detect the impact of a projectile while totally ignoring sound, or vibration,
caused by the echo from the discharge of a firearm. The Electronic Impact Sensor replaces the speaker, microphone and piezo electric
sensors.
100% ACCURACY
REGISTERS THE IMPACT OF EVERY HIT
The rear mounted magnet allows for quick removal from one target
to another, without switching cables, making it versatile and easy to use. The magnet is strong and will not move, or fall off, on
impact even after hundreds of rounds but it is easy enough to move when needed.
It’s as easy as lift, move and stick!!!
Dimensions:
3.4 x 2.2 x 1.4 inches
Weight: 0.5 pounds
Power Source: 9-volt battery (included)
If a steel target is not available, the sensor
could be mounted permanently by removing the magnet and attaching the sensor with the screw used to hold the magnet in place. If quick
mount convenience is desired on a surface other than metal, a small steel plate could be permanently mounted to the rear of the non-metallic
target so the magnet on the sensor has something to stick to.
The Electronic Impact Sensor is compact and lightweight so it can
fit almost anywhere. The body is made of durable plastic and is powered by a 9-volt battery (included). The sensor connects to almost
any timer using a standard ¼ inch phono cable.

After repeated requests from the Fast Draw community,
years of research, experimentation,
and much blood, sweat and tears,
it is FINALLY here!!!
JJ Timers Proudly Presents:
ELECTRONIC IMPACT SENSOR
This sensor is apporved for competition by the Cowboy Fast Draw Association (CFDA), Ohio Fast Draw Association (OFDA) and the
American Fast Draw Association (AFDA) for use on
Lindsey, Hughes, Fast-Trac and Precision Shooting timers.
In the 50+ years of existence of Fast Draw sports the methods used to register the impact on a target has evolved greatly. Methods used include contact point, speaker, microphone, vibration and piezo electric sensors. All of these methods are affected by various factors such as sound, distance and variation in temperature, which also leads to ties, unregistered shots and wasted time.
Innovative and advanced technology in the 21st century has allowed me to design a state of the art electronic impact sensor, which eliminates all of those outside factors that take away from the enjoyment of Fast Draw sports.
This sensor has been used for the past two years by shooters in Ohio, Alabama, Georgia, California and Illinois with 100% satisfaction.
